Student Society of Departmen of Management Technology

 

The students’ society for management students is constituted to give a platform for co-curricular and extra-curricular. Since 2006, the students have been a strong pillar for the growth of the department. The forum infuses all aspects of students’ life in the campus.

There are two student societies for two programmes run by Department of Management Technology.

  2. MBA (Integrated) Forum

STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Ms. Vikita Agrawal stood 1st in overall merit in MBA session 2010-2012 and will be awarded a Gold Medal by RTM Nagpur University. Vikita Agarwal, MBA student of the academic session 2010-12 received 7 gold medals at the hands Dr. A.P.J. Kalam at 100th Convocation of RTM Nagpur University.
  • Jayesh Goyal, Dr. Kanchan Naidu and Dr. Neeta V Shah paper entitled “Study of Faculty turnover in Engineering Educational Institutes in India” in the International Conference on Technology and Business Management , hosted by AIMS International at Al Ghurair university, Dubai, UAE from 23rd to 25th March,2015 published in Conference Proceedings.
  • Devang Kusumgar, Dr. Kanchan Naidu and Dr. Neeta V Shah paper entitled “Study of Corporate Social Responsibility with Special Reference to Selected Indian Automobile Industry” in the International Conference on Technology and Business Management , hosted by AIMS International at Al Ghurair university, Dubai, UAE from 23rd to 25th March,2015 published in Conference Proceedings.
  • Shirin Chimantanwala, Dr. Kanchan Naidu and Dr. Neeta V Shah paper entitled “Development and Growth of Women Entrepreneurship in India” in the International Conference on Technology and Business Management , hosted by AIMS International at Al Ghurair university, Dubai, UAE from 23rd to 25th March,2015 published in Conference Proceedings.
  • Deepika Chhajer, Dr. Kanchan Naidu and Dr. Neeta V Shah paper entitled “Study of Impact of Celebrity Endorsements on Consumer Buying Behaviour” in the International Conference on Technology and Business Management , hosted by AIMS International at Al Ghurair university, Dubai, UAE from 23rd to 25th March,2015 published in Conference Proceedings.

Badminton Champion of DMT

It was a proud moment for RCOEM when VaishnaviAnand ,student of Department of Management Technology, MAM programme brought laurels to the College. She participated in the badminton championship tournament at Gwalior, with her team. They played their way to the top, winning the West Zonal inter University Badminton (Women) championship 2015-16 LNIPE, Gwalior against veer NarmadSouth Gujrat University ,Gujrat. They also bagged an impressive 3rd position in Inter-Zonal Inter-University Badminton (Women) championship 2015-16 LNIPE,Gwalior against osmania University,A.P.

NIPM National Level Business Quiz – 2015 finale

Alfiya Khan,Pooja Pandey, Neha Singh & Prachi Gidwani represented National Institute of Personnel Management – Central region for NIPM National Level Business Quiz – 2015 finale held at Coimbatore during 8th -10th October 2015.

Students visit at Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.

Industry Human Resources Management practice study done by our MBA SEM I Students on 20/10/15. Students visited at Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., and conducted interview of Mr. Mayur Gurjar,Sr.Executive (HR) . They interacted with Mr. Gurjar for more than 5 hours and understood the actual HRM practices at BHEL. Mr. Mayur Gurjar appreciated RCOEM DMT Students for their active participation during the interaction and he also appreciated the the Management Study pattern of RCOEM.

Activity Glimpses at BHEL,Nagpur :Mr.MayurGurjar,Sr.Executive HR ,BHEL , Students awarded Certificates :

  • Tejas Asre of VI Semester MAM has won 1st prize in Quiz-a-tete, a business quiz competition conducted by IMT-Nagpur, in association with QuizWiser on 30 January, 2016.
  • Madhur Shetye, Anuja Dekapurwar and Ashwini Rabde are 1st VNIT- Business Plan winner, conducted on date 23& 24 Jan, 2016 Consortium on theme “Kaizan a change for better- providing eco-friendly solutions for start-ups on issues related to energy, environment and efficiency.”
  • Madhur Shette & Shilpa Nikos ewer the winners on elocution competition on topic “Nagpur Metro, transforming Nagpur” conducted by Department of Management Technology in association with Nagpur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd., on 6th Februray, 2016.
  • Poonam Mishra of MBA Secured Most Confident position in “Why should I Hire you” at Edudition 2016 on 24th and 25th February, 2016 conducted by Tirpude Institute of Management Studies.
