ELECTROLITZ the students’ society for electronics engineering students, has worked tirelessly to achieve the vision and mission set by the department with renewed vigor and vitality with every passing year. Electrolitz is an organization of choice for engineers in the field of electronics, providing valuable and relevant services to all its members. Electrolitz and its members are recognized by their peers as the technical leaders in the advancement of the branch.

The objectives of ELECTROLITZ are to provide the students with the opportunity to know about the intricacies of the sphere which they are studying i.e. Electronics. It aims at a holistic approach towards learning by carrying out a host of technical activities. Not to be left astray of the extracurricular spirit, it also encourages cultural and sporting activities. No wonder abiding by these objectives, the students have brought laurels to this department.

SEVA DISHA CELL
As Covid-19 pandemic has affected many people’s livelihood, “Seva-Disha†a social responsibility cell of Electronics Engineering department managed by Electrolitz Student’s Society took initiative along with Genesis Students Society of EDT department towards distribution of food kits to dust-blower workers of the institution. The staff members and students of EN and EDT department made contribution for buying the food kits.
The collected amount was utilized to purchase food packages which were distributed to dust-blower workers of the institute. A total of 61 food kits were distributed among dust-blower workers comprising of helpers, sanitizing workers, technical assistants and office assistants.
ENTHRONE 20
A new executive body of Electrolitz, Electronics Engineering student society of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management was installed online through Google meet on 10th November 2020 for the year 2020-21.
Mr. Sandeep Rai Sharma, Managing Director – Technology Solutions North America, Advanced Technology Center India, Accenture was the Chief Guest for the function. During his address to students, he encouraged students to update the skill set and be industry ready. He also discussed impact of COVID-19 and post Covid-19 opportunities in Electronics Engineering. Departmental magazine ENSPIRE-12 was also released online at the hands of chief guest and dignitaries.
ENNOVTE 2020
Every year department organizes a national conference & project competition ENNOVATE. It gives platform to undergraduate students to showcase their knowledge in the form of project exhibition, paper presentation competition. This year ENNOVATE-20 was organized on 7th March 2020. The theme of the competition was “Project to Product”. These events enable experimental learning for the student participants and also improve interpersonal skills and time management.
Dr. Sekar Bharadwaj Head HR & CSR, JSW Steel, Kalmeshwar Plant was the chief guest for the function. Dr. R. S. Pande, Principal, RCOEM presided over the function. Dr. (Mrs.) A. A. Khurshid, Head of Electronics Engineering department and staff members of Electronics Engineering Department were prominently present.
More than 400 students from various colleges participated actively in Project and Paper Competition. The projects were evaluated by experts from industries and academia. Mr. Ramdassan Nair Ex. Assistant Manager-Electrical, JSW Steel, Dr. Bhushan Joshi, Chairman-IETE, Nagpur Center, judged the innovative project models of the participants.
ENTRIX 12.0
A one week technical workshop for Second year students ENTRIX 12.0 was conducted from 14th December 2019 to 21st December 2019. The inaugural function was held on 13th December 2019. Mr. Amjad Khan, Management Consultant & EX-GM HR CEAT LIMITED, was the Chief Guest for the inaugural function.
This technical workshop included different learning modules such as Basic and Advanced Electronics, MATLAB, LABVIEW, ORCAD, Eagle & Proteus, Embedded System Design, Internet of Things and Mechatronics. About 90 students from Electronics, Electronics and Communication and Electronic Design Technology Engineering Departments participated in this workshop. Teaching committee comprising of Final and Third year students of Electronics Department taught and gave hands-on to second year participants on the above modules for the first five days of the workshop. The last two days were reserved for project implementation where the participants developed different projects based on the topics learnt in the workshop under the supervision of their mentors.
ENTHRONE 19
New executive body of Electrolitz, Electronics Engineering student society of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management was installed on 16th August 2019 for the year 2019-20.
Shri. Shwachhand Chavan, IRS, Deputy Commissioner, GST and City Vigilance, Nagpur was the Chief Guest for the function. During his address to students, he encouraged students to excel in all the fields to achieve their career goal and also explained need and importance of GST. Departmental magazine ENSPIRE-19 was also released at the hands of dignitaries.
ENNIOVTE 2019
A National Conference & Project Competition ENNOVATE-2019 on 16 March 2019. Dr. Rajesh Tiwari Senior Navigation Engineer at Nottingham Scientific Ltd. Nottingham, UK and visiting lecturer at Newcastle University, UK was the chief guest for the function. Dr. (Mrs.) A. A. Khurshid, Head of Electronics Engineering department presided over the function and staff members of Electronics Engineering Department were prominently present. The theme of the competition was “Challenge your Creativityâ€. E-book of abstract was released on the occasion ENNOVATE-2019.
In total 78 papers, 44 projects, 36 mini projects and 32 posters were selected & presented during the competition. More than 750 students from various colleges participated actively in Project and Paper Competition. The projects were evaluated by eminent experts from industries and academia.
Mr. Mohit Jichkar, student incharge of ENNOVATE-19, Mr. Abhijeet Gupta, President of Electrolitz society and his team took great efforts for the successful conduction of event.
ENTRIX 13.0
ENTRIX – one of the most popular technical events of Electronics Engineering Department organized for Second Year Students of the department by Third and Final Year students entered into its 13th year wherein the workshop was held using online medium from 2nd April – 4th April 2021. The objective behind the workshop has always been to strengthen student-student bonding as well as enhance the technical capability of students. Before the start of the workshop, Mr. Chaitanya Pande, Student Head, ENTRIX 13.0 gave a brief introduction to all the participants about the different learning modules such as BASIC AND ADVANCED ELECTRONICS, MATLAB, ORCAD and EMBEDDED SYSTEM DESIGN.
In the workshop, students were taught some essential concepts module wise and were given hands-on experience on tools like MATLAB, PROTEUS, EAGLE, etc. In MATLAB sessions students were briefed on topics like generating and analyzing signals and creating image filters. Students were also briefed about PCB Design tools like ORCAD, EAGLE and PROTEUS. In BASIC AND ADVANCED ELECTRONICS session, basic electronic circuits were designed and simulated using MULTISIM while understanding the role of each component used. In EMBEDDED SYSTEM DESIGN session students were taught to interface sensors and access data through CLOUD along with concepts of IOT. About 58 students participated in this workshop and the teaching committee included third year students who were trained by the final year students.
SEVA DISHA activity Session-2018-19
SEWA DISHA – a social responsibility cell of Electronics Engineering department managed by Electrolitz students society is contributing towards the social cause every year.
During the academic session 2018-2019, a sum of Rs. 1500/- was collected from the students for Sewa Disha. This year we have donated this amount to Bharat Ke Veer Corpus Fund for Pulwama Attack.
In addition, this academic year students visited at Surendragadh Municipal Corporation School on 28th March 2019. We reached Surendra Nagar School at 2 P.M wherein we were greeted by Mrs. Sangeeta Patil, Principal of the school. The Principal made all of us aware about the activities of the school.
A workshop on computers was organized by the members of Electrolitz Society at Surendragadh Municipal Co-operation School on 28th March 2019. The workshop was successfully conducted by a team of five members viz. Sonali Singh, Ruchi Rathi, Pallavi Gadewar, Swikruti Rithe, Shivi Dubey all from 4th semester Electronics department of RCOEM. In the workshop, the students were taught about the history of computer, the language of computer, its basic operations like creating a new folder, copying, pasting, handling the keyboard, mouse etc. Later the children were taught about the Microsoft paint and its toolbar.
The students really enjoyed the session and were excited to know more about computer and its features. Their curiosity was on peak with the explanation of few tool, icons, and functions of computer. They even got hands-on-experience on MS-Paint. It was a moment of self-satisfaction for our student team to see happy faces of underprivileged students who were first time handling the computer. We all were delighted by getting positive and prompt response from the children. After concluding the session, school authority requested us to conduct such more sessions in summer vacations. We acknowledged and conveyed our wish to take more such events.
Electrolitz Student Society celebrated the National Youth Day at RCOEM on 12 January 2019.
Department of Electronics Engineering paid tributes to Swami Vivekanand on his birth anniversary. Staff and students offered salutations and remembered his powerful thoughts & ideals that continue shaping the minds of generations.
ENTRIX 11.0 Inaugurated at Electronics Department
One week technical workshop for Second year students ENTRIX 11.0 was inaugurated at Electronics Engineering department of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management on 4th January 2019. ENTHRONE, the installation ceremony of Electronics Department, RCOEM witnessed the plethora of events on and before 10th of October 2017.. The formal installation function was held in presence of Dr.Mrs.A.A.Khurshid, HOD,Electronics, RCOEM; Mrs.Poorvi Joshi Teacher in-charge,Electrolitz and Dr. J.A.Shrawankar Teacher in-charge, Electrolitz and Mr. Nilabh Vyas,President, Electrolitz. Chief Guest of the function was Shri. Brijesh Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Central Railway. The annual branch magazine ENSPIRE was released by the hands of chief guest.
ENTRIX 10.0
One week technical workshop for Second year students ENTRIX 10.0 was inaugurated at Electronics Engineering department on 6th January 2018. Mr.Rajkumar Gandhi, our esteemed alumni and owner of SHARP CONTROL, EQUIPMENTS P. LTD,Nagpur was the Chief Guest for the inaugural function. To make the decade version more special, Founders of ENTRIX, and alumni Mr.Akshay Kekre , Mr.Ketan Paithankar, Mr.Haris Ali and Mr.Shubham Bagdia were also present. About 100 Students from RCOEM and various institutes have participated in the workshop. This workshop progresses on the idea For the students, by the students, of the students. Students of 3rd as well as 4th year conduct the workshop and deliver different learning modules which includes BASIC AND ADVANCED ELECTRONICS, MATLAB & LABVIEW, ORCAD & EAGLE, EMBEDDED & MECHATRONICS.

Topic: Recent trends in Computer Communication
A guest lecture by Mr. Madan Tiwari, Principal Consultant of Cloud Computing, Click2Cloud Inc., U.S.A, was organized for students of Electronics Engineering branch on 15thJuly 2017 under Electrolitz Student Society. Mr. Madan Tiwari initiated the talk by emphasis on the significance of Cloud Computing. Mr. Madan Tiwari briefed the students regarding the basic communication techniques being followed and adopted in current scenario as well as the different aspects of Computer Communication. He also discussed about new modern equipments related to medical electronics & how they are cross connected with computation purpose. Mr. Tiwari also briefed about the online communication NETIQUETTES � the network etiquette (the do�s & don�ts) and provided students with an idea about Internet Protocol (IP) address, Crossover Network, Voice over Internet Protocol etc.
Topic: Recent trends in Automation
A guest lecture by Mr. Akhil Bahale, Director, Sterling Technologies, Nagpur, was organized for V Sem students of Electronics Engineering branch on 25th July 2017 under Eletrolitz Student Society.
Mr. Akhil Bahale initiated the talk by briefing the significance of Industrial revolution in Automation by substitute machines for human effort. He told the students regarding the basic automation logic i.e Programmable logic Controller P.L.C which is referred as digital computer in industries as well as in other control-system areas along with its Input Output modules. He discussed about Electromechanical control logic used for automation purpose related to the field of Mechatronics (Mechanical Electronics). He also discussed about different application of PLC in day to day life like washing machine, elevators working ,railway systems ,sewage system, irrigation systems, traffic signals control etc. Mr. Bahale told students about the sensors and limit switches like proximity sensors ,capacitive sensors ,Conveyor Sensors ,Power Sensors, Inductive Proximity Switches ,Pressure Switch used for automation and control applications
ENTRIX 9.0
One week technical workshop for Second year students of E-branches ENTRIX 9.0 was inaugurated at Electronics Engineering department on 6th January 2017. Mr. Namdeo Rabade, Senior Divisional Electrical Engineer, TRS, Cerntal Railway, Nagpur was the Chief Guest for the inaugural function. Dr. S. D. Mohgaonkar, Dean Second Shift, RCOEM presided over the function. Ms Aishwarya Shriwastsva-President ELECTOLITZ student society and Mr. Omkar Kekre-Technical Coordinator ENTRIX 9.0 introduced various sessions to be conducted in week long workshop. About 140 Students participated in this workshop. Souvenir of ENTRIX 9.0 was also released on the occasion.
Entrix 8.0
Installation ceremony of Electronics Engineering student society, ELECTROLITZ for the year 2015-16 was held at the hands of Mr. Arvind Kumar, (Dy) Center head, TATA Consultancy services, Nagpur. Our esteemed alumni Mr. Ajay Yawalkar, Associate consultant TCS, Nagpur was also present for the installation.
Every year Electrolitz student society conducts a 7 days technical workshop named ENTRIX in which the students are given hands on experience of technology. Last year the technical workshop, ENTRIX 8.0 was inaugurated on 19th January 2016 at the hands of Mr. Sandeep Darwhekar, Central India Electronics Association, Nagpur. Chief Guest Mr. Darwhekar in his address advised students to learn fundamentals & participate in the technological revolution. He spoke at length about journey of technological innovation and laid emphasis on the product engineering. About 130 Students from RCOEM and various institutes are participating in the workshop.
This workshop progresses on the idea �For the students, by the students, of the students�. Students of 3rd as well as 4th year teach different electronics related subjects to 2nd year students. The workshop comprise of different topics such as BASIC ELECTRONICS, MATLAB, ORCAD, Embedded System ,Lab View, Proteus, Mechatronics and VHDL.
