Alumni Meet 15.02.2020

The alumni meet has been a tradition conducted by RCOEM. In view of improving interaction with passed out students with their alma mater, an alumni meet was organized by Civil Engineering Department on February 15, 2020 (Saturday) from 7.00 p.m to 10.00 p.m, The meet was organised in coordination with Civil Engineering Students Association, CESA (NEEV 2020). There was a Technical Exhibition of construction materials, equipments and machines, wonderful cultural program followed by delicious dinner at first year ground for dearly loved alumni.

About 50 alumni registered and happily attended the meet. All the departmental faculty members were present for this meet to interact with beloved alumni.

The head of Civil Engineering department, Dr. P. D. Pachpor warmly welcomed the alumni and also addressed the gathering. Meeting was attended by various faculty members of the department.

Dr. P.D. Pachpor and Prof. M. S. Tiwari discussed the agenda of the meeting. The agenda of the meeting was to help in improving and bridging the gap between department and outside world with reference to industrial training and visits/placement/student internship/Consultancy of the student studying in the second, third and final year of the program. The other objectives of the meet were cooperation in Guest lectures and site or field visits. The detail discussion about the agenda was explained by faculty members with interaction from the alumni. The suggestions were taken from the alumni regarding the above stated agenda. Some of the alumni who have their business or working in some companies given their concern for accommodating the students from the department for internship, training and placement. The suggestions were also invited from the alumni regarding the development of the Civil Engineering Department and program curriculum. The discussion was also extended by improving the database of the passed out students to enhance the alumni activity from the department. The alumni co-ordinator, Prof. T.B. Gupta from the department requested the alumni present in the meeting to collect the details of their classmates and provide it to the department.

Dr. A.K Sharma, Dr. V.A. Dakwale, and Prof. E. M. Gonnade also interacted with the alumni and shared their old memories. Dr. R.N. Khapre, Prof. H.P. Khungar and Dr. P.P. Dahale focused on the fewer new techniques in Civil Engineering which could be very useful for students. The open interacting session was conducted by Prof. V.J. Rajurkar, Dr. S.P. Siddh, Dr. A.A. Mehta and Prof. V.R Harne with the alumni for their suggestions.

Prof. Ankush Asati and Prof. Nikhil Agrawal, cooperated in alumni registration. Dr. T.B. Gupta and Prof. S.U. Dhote collected alumni feedback from alumni. Glimpses of alumni meet were captured by Prof. U.S.Patil and Dr. Prashant Hiwase The meet ended happily with formal vote of thanks by Dr. V.A.Dkawale.

Alumni Meet 21.12.19

An Alumni Meet is organized to celebrate and refresh old relationships and form new ones. It is an occasion when students gather at their Alma Mater, go down the memory lane and look forward for new interactions with new hopes. Alumni Meet provides us the opportunity to meet with many of our graduate students after a long time as well as provides them a chance to meet each other, their former teachers and other staff members. It also enables the alumni to notice the changes and developments happened in the college campus then and now.

The alumni meet has been a tradition conducted by RCOEM, In view of improving interaction with passed out students of every department, alumni meet was organized by Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur. The meet was scheduled on Saturday, 21 December 2019 at 10 AM.

The Annual Alumni meet – Conclave-2019 was scheduled on Saturday, 21st December 2019. It was Silver Jubilee Celebration of 1994 batch. The Program started from 10 a.m. in the morning in MBA Auditorium, RCOEM Campus, followed by group photograph at OAT. There after alumni visited to their respective departments. The time of visit to Civil Engineering Department was between 12.30 pm to 2.00 pm.

About 25 alumni of Civil Engineering Department from 1994 batch, registered for the meet this year. All the departmental faculty members were present for this meet to interact with the alumni.

Dr. P. D. Pachpor, Head of the Civil Engineering Department welcome the alumni and addressed the gathering of the meet. Prof. P. B. Kulkarni, Prof. T.K.Rao, Dr. A.K.Sharma and Prof. M. S. Tiwari, shared the old memories and also discussed the agenda of the meeting. Alumni Meet February 09, 2019

The alumni meet has been a tradition conducted by RCOEM. In view of improving interaction with passed out students with their alma mater, an alumni meet was organized by Civil Engineering Department on February 09, 2019 from 11.00 a.m to 1.00 p.m, In this meet, suggestions regarding improvement in curriculum / infrastructure / laboratory facilities / student’s internship or training / placement / departmental library / teaching-learning facilities / testing / consultancy etc. were received from different alumni. This may help in improvement and bridging the gap between the department and outside world.
About 20 alumni, registered for the meet this year. The meeting was addressed by Dr. P. D. Pachpor, the Head of the Civil Engineering Department. Dr. M.S. Kadu, Dr. A.K. Sharma, Prof. T.K. Rao and Prof. E.M. Gonnade welcomed and addressed the gathering for the meet. The departmental faculty members were present for this meet to interact individually with them.
