Students’ accomplishments (Academic and Non-Academic)
- Mr. Mohit Thapa student of first year, MCA was awarded 1st prize in Polaris, 3rd prize in Sorphresa-2017 in LAN Gaming and 2nd Position in Crescendo. His team also secured 1st Position in Crescendo (SORO).
- Komal Bhawnani was awarded 1st position in Cricket, in Sorphresa 2017.
- Dinny Varghese, student of second year, MCA, secured second position in paper presentation competition at VMV College, Nagpur.
- Pawan Tarani & Umaprasad Bisen, students of second year, MCA, secured First Prize in the event “Code of Victory” conducted by Jigyasa Research Centre, Nagpur.
- Kewal Snehaj Singh, a student of Second Year, MCA, got third prize in Inter-collegiate Chess Competition held at RCOEM, Nagpur.
- The students of Final year, MCA have been placed as interns in around 22 renowned IT companies at Nagpur. Total 55 students of final year, MCA, Batch 2016-17 are pursuing internship through Departmental internship efforts.

The second year students of Department of Computer Application underwent Winter Internship at “Jigyasa Research & Development Center, Nagpur” under the supervision ofMr. Manish Karandikar. They worked in different groups and developed Android based mobile app for various Ganesh temples of Maharashtra. They worked from 10th December, 2016 to 10th January, 2017, under the guidance of Ms. Nikita Nandanwar and were reviewed by Mr. Deni Bobade.

Event Venue: Dharampeth Polytechnique, Dharampeth, Nagpur
Date: 4/2/2016
Description: This project focused on controlling electrical equipment of home using an Android Application. An android application “ImperaTechHome” was developed with Bluetooth connectivity. LED, Servo Motor and door security lock can be controlled using the android application.
The students won first prize in the competition in the department of computer science and Information technology at Dharampeth Polytechnic. Among 100 competitors this project got the first prize of rupees 13000

2. A student project titled “Design and Development of Smart Digital Electrical security Board” was selected under the department R&D fund.
3. A team of students from fourth semester won a prize of Rs. 7000 at a national level event organized by Smt. Radhikatai Pandav College of Engineering in 2013. The Students developed an Android app called “My Aptitude”.
4. Mr. Amit Sayare, Mr. Paritosh Yadav and Mr. Aman Mandal of MCA III Yr students was won First Prize Project competition in PRAYAS 2016 A National level Technical contest was held on 14th -15th October 2016 at VMV Science College, Nagpur. Project name is “Home automation & Security (3-Way)”.
5. Mr. Amit Sayare, Mr. Paritosh Yadav and Mr. Aman Mandal of MCA III Yr student’s project won first prize at Inter college level conducted by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, at Santaji Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur. on 18th October 2016 , succeed at stage-II (District level) conducted at Mohata Science College, Nagpur., Finally selected in AVISHKAR-2016 a University Level Research Fest which will conduct on 26th – 29th Jan. 2017 at Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. The Name of project is “Smart Digital Electrical Board- 3 Way Solution” under the guidance of Dr. P. S. Voditel and Dr. S. D. Upadhye. The project is sponsored by Departmental Research and Development fund.
