The object of the competition is to simulate real-world engineering design projects and their related challenges. Each team is competing to have its design accepted for manufacture by a fictitious firm. The students must function as a team to design, engineer, build, test, promote and compete with a vehicle within the limits of the rules. They must also generate financial support for their project and manage their educational priorities.   ABOUT TRIDENT RACING The SAE INDIA RCOEM Collegiate club was established in the year 2012. With great enthusiasm and passion, TEAM IMPULSIFIERS participated in its first competition in 2014 and then in 2015 & 2016. The club was re-established after an interval of two years, i.e in 2018 with new devotion and enthusiasm that recreated the club making it alive by the force of fresh new spirits. And the team was named TEAM TRIDENT RACING. Readers’ Reverie Literary Club Readers’ Reverie Literary Club works under the aegis of Department of Humanities and Students’ Representative Council. The Club organizes various events for the students of the college under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Humanities, Dr. Deepshika Mehra and Faculty In charge of Readers’ Reverie Literary Club, Dr. Pratishruti Singh in collaboration with the SRC. It is the forum where students with a passion for art meet and discuss ideas ranging from depths of wisdom found in do has to fickleness of youth found in contemporary fiction. The club values freedom of expression and open-mindedness and is exactly the place one would come and hone their articulation and debating skills. The club also represents a place where engaging with differing viewpoints is encouraged to have a better learning experience in college life. It was a first of its kind event held in the college, as it not only provided a platform, to the first years to participate in various literary events, but also inculcated a sense of team work and unity amongst the classmates as it was an Inter Class competition, with one section emerging as the overall winners. The events conducted were: Speak Out Loud: An annual debate competition for all the first years, giving them an opportunity to let their words define their stands through this English debate. Abhivyakti: A Hindi elocution competition for the speakers to come and speak their hearts out in the national language. InQUIZzite: A quiz competition for the pantomaths and quizzers to come and flaunt their cognizance. Auditions for all the above mentioned events were conducted on the 10th and 12th of February with only the best amongst the lot proceeding towards the final rounds.It started with an inaugural ceremony which was graced by Dr.S.D.Mohgaonkar, Dean, First year, Ms. Pratishruti Singh-Agrawal, Faculty In-charge, Readers Reverie Literary Club and Mr.Neeraj Dayaramani, Student Head, Readers’ Reverie Literary Club. Dr. Mohgaonkar in his address stated the importance of conducting such activities for the overall development of an individual, and also congratulated the team of Readers Reverie Literary Club for the initiative to include events such as Hindi elocution and Quiz. The events saw the first years participating enthusiastically in all the fronts.Dr. V.H. Asudani was the judge for Abhivyakti. The Quizmaster for InQUIZitive was Mr.Rahul Bhagat. Speak out Loud was judged by Dr. Anjali Patil-Gaikwad. The valedictory function was graced by Dr. Deepshikha Mehra, Head, Department of Humanities. She handed away the prizes to all the prize winners. Section G emerged as the overall champions and bagged the rolling shield. Section G class representatives along with their class teacher, Prof. Rahul M, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil Engineering received the shield on the class’ behalf. YOUTH PARLIAMENT 2019 Youth Parliament is an event organised by Readers’ Reverie Literary Club in collaboration with Students’ Representative Council. This year, it was held on 12th January 2019, Saturday. The judge for the Youth Parliament was Dr. G.S. Khwaja, an acclaimed scholar in the field of Archaeology, an Urdu poet, actor and retired professor. Dr. Khwaja was welcomed by Dr. Y.M.Sonkhaskar, Dean, SRC and felicitated with the College memento by Dr. Deepshikha Mehra, HoD, Humanities. Faculty-in-charge, Readers’ Reverie Literary Club, Ms. Pratishruti Singh-Agarwal was also present. The Speakers of the Parliament were Ayush Rastogi and Sai Shashank. Initially, the branches were allotted different political parties of India by drawing lots and were asked to make a bill depending on the given parties’ ideologies.

Arts Club The Art Club was established on 5 August 2022. The art club is a group of individuals who share an interest in creating, discussing, and appreciating various forms of art. This club often meets regularly to engage in artistic activities, such as drawing, painting, sculpting, or even digital art. Every month, 2-3 Sundays meets are scheduled. It is a great way to connect with fellow artists and nurture your passion for the arts. Art club provide a supportive and collaborative environment for members to explore their creative talents, learn new techniques, and showcase their artwork.
