A guiding force, Shri Banwarilal Purohit has been thrice elected as a Member of Parliament from the Nagpur constituency and also has been a Minister in the Maharashtra Government. Apart from his selfless devotion to the institution, he is well known for his various social service activities. Shri Purohit is the Managing Editor of Nagpur's leading English Daily 'The Hitavada' as also a National Trustee of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan having branches world wide and Chairman of Nagpur unit of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Schools.

He is former Vice Chancellor of the Amravati University, Former Director of VNIT, Nagpur, Former-Chairman, Western Regional Committee of AICTE and has a vast academic as well as Research & Development experience to his credit. Dr. S.T. Deshmukh is B.E. (Mech.), M.Tech., Ph.D., FIE and MISTE, his chequered career includes working with MES, BARC, VNIT, CoE Pune, Amravati University and now RKNEC. He has visited various countries including USA, UK, Japan, Italy, Canada, Australia, etc. to foster co-operation in academic studies and to promote joint activities which were instrumental in adding strength to institutions in India. He was awarded 'Hall of Fame Award-2000' by International Publishing Centre, New Delhi.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. V.S. Deshpande

Dr. V.S. Deshpande is an ardent Mechanical Engineer with commendable capabilities in the area of Research and Development. With a brilliant academic carrier, Dr. Deshpande has published 12 research papers in National and International Journals of repute. Apart from this he has presented more than 70 research papers in National and International Conferences and seminars. Three of his papers won awards at conferences.

Dr. Deshpande has successfully completed 5 different consultancy projects. A life member of ISTE, QCFI, Institution of Industrial Engineering and YHAI, he has been editor of   proceedings of National Conference – IPROM 2000-01 and Proceedings of International Conference on 'Recent Trends

in Automation and its Adaptation to Industries', 2006. He is also a Reviewer for International Journal of Reliability Engineering and System Safety. A member of Faculty of Engineering and Technology of RTM Nagpur University, he is also nominated as member of the Examination committee in Mechanical Engineering. A versatile and sought after trainer, Dr. Deshpande is recognized guide for Ph.D. in RTM Nagpur University as well as SG Amravati University. Dr. R.S. Pande

Dr. Rajesh S. Pande, presently Professor and Head of Electronics Engg., Dean (Second Shift) and Vice Principal of Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (Formerly SRKNEC), received B.E. degree in Electronics & Telecommunication from Government Engg. College, Jabalpur in 1990, M.Tech. in 1992 and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engg. from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur in 2008. He joined Department of Electronics Engg. at Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College( Now Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management)  in 1992. He earlier served SRCOEM as Dean (R & D), Founder coordinator of M.Tech. (VLSI Design), Head of Electronic Design Technology and Head of Electronics & Communication.
His principal research interests include Radio Frequency Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems (RFMEMS) and VLSI Design. He was Principal Investigator of Medium term research project at IIT Bombay, Powai under Indian Nano Electronics Users Programme of Govt. of India. He also received various development grants from national funding agencies. Prof. Pande contributed more than 25 research publications in International, national journals and conferences. He represented SRCOEM at academic and educational platforms abroad.
Prof. Pande who is  member of IEEE,ISTE and AMIE, was instrumental in organizing national conferences, Govt. sponsored faculty development programmes, faculty and student training courses at SRCOEM. He delivered expert lectures at educational institutes and industries. He is member of board of studies in Electronics Engg of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Approved supervisor for Ph.D. and Chairman, board of studies, Electronics Engg. of SRCOEM.
