Eligibility Criteria for Engineering (B.E.) |
|
Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics AND Secured minimum 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks (minimum 40% marks i.e. not less than 120 marks out of 300 marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together. Revised
AND Obtained a non zero score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together at MHT-CET-2011 OR Candidate should have a valid AIEEE Score (i.e. total score should be positive) for the year 2011-12.

Admission Procedure |
|
1. All eligible and desirous candidates are required to fill the Application Request Form (ARF) which will be available on the college website, http://www.rknec.edu/ , for both AIEEE-2011 and MHT-CET-2011 appeared candidates from Monday, 7th June 2011 and Tuesday, 15th June 2011, respectively.
|
|
2. Candidates who want to submit their Application Request Form (ARF) by post are advised to make a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- (non refundable) in favour of ‘Shri Ramdeobaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College’, payable at Nagpur, from a Nationalized Bank before filling the online Application Request Form. Candidates should fill the ARF, submit and take two printouts. One copy should be kept for the candidates record/reference and the other has to be sent either by speed post or courier, along with the original Demand Draft and attested photocopies of required documents to the following address:

3. All duly filled ARFs should reach the office of Dean-Admissions on or before 5:00 PM, Wednesday 1st July 2011.
|
|
4. Local Candidates can submit their ARF directly at the college. They can pay cash of Rs. 1000/- (non refundable) at the college cash counter and collect cash receipt. They also have to fill an online ARF and take two print-outs. One copy has to be kept for the candidates record/reference and the other has to be submitted along with the original cash receipt and attested photo copies of required documents. An acknowledgement of submission has to be taken on the candidate's copy of ARF for future reference.

5. Incomplete forms in any respect will be rejected and will not be considered for preparation of Provisional College Merit List (PCML).
|
|
6. After last date all eligible forms will be scrutinized and Provisional College Merit List (PCML) for both the categories (AIEEE & MHT-CET) will be prepared and displayed on College Notice Board as well as on College Website. Students are required to check their merit in PCML. Regarding any discrepancies such as: not appearing of name / correction in marks has to be brought to the notice of Admission Office by filling grievance form before 4:00 pm, 6th July 2011.

7. After rectifying the valid and upheld objections, if any, Final College Merit List (FCML) of both categories will be displayed on College Notice Board as well on College Website on 11th July 2011 after 3 pm.
|
|
8. All candidates are required to attend personally the Institute Level / Management Quota Counseling and Spot Admission Round as per FCML to be held on 13th July 2011, 9:00 am onwards along with Demand Draft of Required Interim Fees, all original documents, Three Passport Size recent coloured Photographs and Three set of attested photocopies of all documents.

9. All admissions will be done strictly on inter-se merit of FCML of respective category at the scheduled time and date. If any candidate fails to attend the counseling on the specified date and time his claim will be lost.
|
|
10. After getting Provisional Admission Slip candidate has to complete the other admission formalities in the admission section.
|
|
11. The academic session for First Year B.E. is scheduled to begin on Monday the 20th July 2011.
|
|
12. Candidates are advised to keep themselves abreast with the latest information on admissions by visiting the college website and follow the schedule of admissions strictly. |
