Note: All admissions at Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur are done strictly on the basis of merit and in a transparent manner. College has not authorized any agency or agent for admission of students. In this regard parents and candidates are sincerely advised not to fall a prey to unscrupulous agents or agencies.

Note : 
  1. All admissions will be done as per guidelines of Competent Authority of Govt. of Maharashtra for the session 2016-2017.
  2. All the aspiring candidates seeking admissions under any quota (CAP quota / Linguistic Minority quota / Institutional Level quota / NRI / Gulf NRI / FN / PIO - Overseas Citizens of India quota) must register their name on the official website www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in and obtain Unique Application ID for the candidate.
  3. All types of candidates, including minorities, aspiring for admission under any quota, it is mandatory to get registered and get documents verified and confirmed at facilitation center.


All admissions for First Year B.E under Institute Quota are filled up at merit No. 664.

Eligibility Criteria

 
(1) For Maharashtra State Candidates
  1. The candidate should be an Indian National.
  2. Passed H.S.S.C or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of backward class categories and persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together;
    OR
    Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of backward class categories and persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);
    OR
    Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of backward class categories and persons with disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);
  3. Obtained score in MHT-CET 2016 conducted by the competent Authority.

(2) All India Candidature Candidates
  1. The candidate should be an Indian National.
  2. Passed H.S.S.C or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of backward class categories and persons with disability candidates residing in India only) Or in the above subjects taken together;

  3. OR
    Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of backward class categories and persons with disability candidates residing in India only);
    OR
    Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of backward class categories and persons with disability candidates residing in India only);
  4. Obtained score in MHT-CET 2016 or JEE Main Paper I.
(3) Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf Countries, Foreign National
  1. The candidate should have passed the H.S.S.C or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks;
 
Remark :  Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be offered provisional admission subject to the condition that they will pass the 12th/H.S.S.C. examination with the required percentage of marks on or before the cut-off date of DTE.  In case, the candidate fails to produce the results of the qualifying examination on or before the cut-off date, then admission offered to such candidate will be automatically cancelled and the fees (tuition, development and other fees) paid by the candidate for the academic year 2016-2017 will be forfeited.

They will also fill the application form (ARF) of the institute.

 

Documents Required

  1. S.S.C. (Std. X) mark sheet.
  2. H.S.S.C. (Std. XII) mark sheet.
  3. School leaving certificate after passing H.S.S.C. (Std. XII)
  4. Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate / School Leaving Certificate having mention of Nationality as Indian.
  5. Migration Certificate (if appeared for HSSC examination from other than Maharashtra State Board)
  6. MHT-CET-2016 score card /  JEE (Main)-2016 Score Card
  7. Eligibility for Linguistic Minority Quota seats.
    Candidates having mother tounge 'Hindi' and domicile of Maharashtra State are eligible.
    For Minority Quota Seats following documents are mandatory (in addition to above):
    1. Declaration of the Candidate for the respective Linguistic / Religious Minority Community or Leaving Certificate having information pertaining to Religion / Mother tongue. (शासन निर्णय अल्पसंख्याक विकास विभाग क्र- अविवि-2010/ प्र.क्र.109/10/काया-5 दि .01 जुलै 2013 पहावा)
    2. Domicile Certificate of Candidate.
  8. Eligibility certificate of RTM Nagpur University in case the candidate who have studied their Std. XIIth from other than Maharastra state Board. And this certificate can be submitted after admission.
  9. Xerox copy of CAP acknowledgement receipt.
