Dr. Vinod H. Asudani is an academician, researcher, scholar, poet, writer, social activist, psychologist, counselor, HRD trainer, thinker, philosopher, public speaker and quantum spiritual practitioner. He is working as an Associate Professor and Head, Department of Humanities. He has 18 years’ teaching experience at under graduate and post graduate level. Despite being a visually challenged since birth, he was placed on the merit lists of S.S.C, H.S.S.C and B.A examinations. He is a gold medalist in M. A English, History and Sociology. He has M.Sc Applied Psychology from Annamalai University to his credit. He was conferred with Doctorate in English by RTM Nagpur University. He is a recognized supervisor for M.Phil and Ph.D programmes. He is a prolific writer who writes in English, Hindi, Sindhi and Urdu Languages. He has 11 books to his credit including 3 in Sindhi, 1 in Hindi and 7 in English. He has published more than 23 research papers in National and International Journals and has 73 conference presentations to his credit. His name is enlisted in 10 National and International Who’s Who including those of Limca Book of Records from India, 5000 leaders of the world from U. S. A and International Dictionary of Intellectuals from Cambridge U.K.
His anthology of poems ( The roots of fire) received Yuva Puraskar from Bharti Bhasha Parishad Kolkata. He received National Award consisting of citation and Rs. 25,000/- in cash for his contribution to Sindhi Literature from Akil Bharat Sindhi Boli and Sahitya Sabha in June 2014. His anthology of Sindhi poems (Mur-Mur) received a National Literary Award consisting of citation and Rs. 50,000/- in cash from National Council for the promotion of Sindhi Language New Delhi in March 2015.Dr Asudani was conferred with the Best Teacher Writer Award by R T M Nagpur University for the year 2015-2016 at the hands of Guardian Minister of Nagpur in the presence of Vice Chancellor of the University on 5th September, 2015. He is a National level educator, motivator, and HRD trainer. He is nominated as a member on Language Advisory Board Central Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi and Member Maharashtra State Sindhi Sahitya Akademi, Mumbai.
